I, Eva Virginia Padial Alcalá, your teacher, will guide you in preparing an authentic Andalusian gazpacho while you practice culinary vocabulary and everyday expressions. Cooking together is one of the most natural ways to learn a language—between laughter, fresh ingredients, and family secrets, Spanish flows effortlessly.

We’ll visit a local farm where you can pick up fresh vegetables while learning agriculture-related vocabulary. You’ll see a banana plantation up close and discover why the Canary Islands banana is so special to us.

Heritage that tells stories
We’ll explore culturally significant landmarks such as Casa Fuerte and the church of Adeje, renowned for its exceptional Mudejar ceiling. This architectural style—more typical of mainland Spain than the islands—will help you uncover the historical connections between different regions of Spain, all while practicing Spanish through descriptions, history, and art.
Authentic Canarian architecture
The historic center of Arona will be our open-air classroom, where traditional Canarian architecture tells stories spanning centuries. Every balcony, every square, every corner has its own vocabulary and expressions to discover.

We’ll wrap up with a true Spanish fiesta, where you’ll experience firsthand what celebration and togetherness mean to us Spaniards. Because learning a language also means learning how to celebrate—just as we do.
